Day 73 — Discord Prep, Demo Homes, and Cleanup
Context
Today I shifted focus from the campus to preparing for the Discord server launch and early access playtesting. I created Modern Home and Log Cabin demo homes, started prototyping a Geodome home, and made several changes to HouseBuilder to support these new assets. I also spent significant time cleaning up materials and textures in UEFN to pass validation, and made the decision to abandon the Curved World effect for now due to multiplayer and lighting issues.

Demo Homes & Geodome Prototyping
The new demo homes were built to showcase the range of architectural styles possible with the current toolset. The Geodome prototype required additional HouseBuilder changes, reinforcing the need for flexible, scalable tools.
UEFN Cleanup & Map Designer Updates
A major cleanup pass was required in UEFN to ensure all materials and textures met validation requirements. I also made minor updates to the Map Designer app and created four fence variations in 3D Model Maker, setting up the code for future fence integration.
